Events Manager 

Position Summary 

Plan, coordinate, and execute exceptional events from concept to completion. Manage all aspects of event logistics, vendor relationships, and stakeholder communications while ensuring memorable experiences that align with organizational objectives and brand standards. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Ability to visit event venues with personal transportation 

• Develop comprehensive event strategies and concepts aligned with business goals 

• Manage full event lifecycle including planning, execution, and post-event evaluation 

• Coordinate with vendors, venues, caterers, and service providers  

• Oversee event budgets, contracts, and financial reconciliation 

• Lead cross-functional teams and manage event staff and volunteers 

• Create and maintain event timelines, run-of-show documents, and logistics plans 

• Manage event marketing, registration systems, and attendee communications 

• Facilitate workshops, networking events, and professional development sessions  

Required Qualifications 

• Experience managing events of varying sizes and complexity 

• Strong project management and organizational skills 

• Excellent vendor negotiation and relationship management abilities 

• Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills under pressure

Reports To: Executive Director of IHC 

Time Commitment: At least 5-10 hours per month, with flexibility based on availability and organizational needs.
