Grant Writer Manager

Position Summary 

The Grant Writer Manager is responsible for identifying funding opportunities and writing grant proposals to secure financial support for the organization's student career and professional development programs. This position involves researching potential funders, developing compelling grant applications, and managing the grant submission process to ensure sustainable program funding. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Research and identify grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government sources 

• Write, edit, and submit high-quality grant proposals and applications 

• Develop and maintain relationships with current and potential funders 

• Track grant deadlines, requirements, and submission status 

• Collaborate with program staff to gather information and data for proposals 

• Prepare grant reports and maintain compliance with funder requirements 

Required Qualifications 

• Experience in grant writing, fundraising, or nonprofit development 

• Proven track record of successful grant applications and awards 

• Excellent written communication skills with ability to craft compelling narratives 

• Strong research skills and attention to detail 

• Experience with foundation and government grant processes 

• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines 

Reports To:  Executive Director of IHC  

Time Commitment: At least 8-12 hours per month, with flexibility based on availability and organizational needs.
